Intention of the programme
For me it is of great importance that your path starts with the space it needs before you embark on route. This is why I would like to meet with you on a one to one session to go through our felt sense of getting involved on this journey together before the course starts. We can explore different areas that you or me might be interested in exploring in relation to the course, Focusing on your interests and how to bring Focusing into your practice, work, life, society. We can spend sometime exchanging listening and Focusing with each other.
Prerequisites to join this programme
You will need to have finished the Focusing skills course.
We will have a one to one session before the programme starts.
Programme Details – Timing & Rhythm
It is just as natural that your learning experience, your integration and understanding will have its own rhythm. It is my personal interest that this remains as sacred as life it is. Your process will guide you and me to be there, within the time it needs.
At the same time the programme will be given within 12 months, and the apprenticeship-mentorship within 18 months. After this time if more time is needed, I will be able to be there for you and your process, and we can arrange together a further accompaniment.
One of the most important aspects to become a certified Focusing Professional is that you can sense your readiness within you and that you are in contact with your Focusing forward flow and how it wishes to present to the world. Your certification will be awarded when we reach a common ground of readiness by you, me, your secondary mentor, and your fellow trainees.
On completion you will be able to:
- Introduce people to Focusing
- Offer sessions as a listener/guide – companioning one to one
- Teaching Focusing one to one
- Include Focusing in your practice ( Focusing oriented counsellor, Yoga teacher, Therapist, Coach, Artist, Facilitator, Mediator, etc )
Programme framework
- 12 online sessions from September 2022 to September 2023
- 3 – 3 day retreats throughout the year in the west of Ireland ( November, March, September )
- 15 one to one mentoring sessions online
I would like to highlight that the importance of your own circumstances and your own learning path will guide us to approach each stage of the way with openness and flexibility to meet your own unique territory.
Fees
You will be able to register for the programme once we have had our one to one exploration.
I ask for a registration fee of €200 as numbers are limited. I only take up to 8 people on the course.
The cost of the whole training is €2000- €1750
If you are currently in full time employment I would ask you to pay the full amount for the course.
