From Fear to Flow: A Focusing Approach to Public Speaking

Using Inner Relationship Focusing (IRF) and regular skills training, this course will help you become the speaker you want to be.
Do you dread speaking in public? Or maybe you enjoy it, but still get very nervous? Perhaps people love your workshops... and yet, before each one, you're a nervous wreck.
This course will help you explore your feelings around public speaking. What is stopping you from feeling completely confident? How does your inner critic manifest for you? And how can you create speech content from a feeling place, rather than just your head?
I use guided exercises to help you explore the above, and to help you be with whatever comes for you.
In weeks 5 and 6, you will be asked to give a 5-7 minute talk in front of the group, receiving my support and feedback as a speaking coach.
Week 1: Why working with our anxiety works, and trying to get rid of it doesn't.
Week 2: "What do I want to say?" Getting a feel for our content.
Week 3: " How would it feel in my body if this issue was resolved?" Experiencing the wanted feeling, and what blocks it.
Week 4: "I'm no good at this". Working with the Inner Critic.
Weeks 5 and 6: Delivering your talk online in a supportive environment.
