Ardpatrick is nestled at the base of the Ballyhoura mountains so it is quite rural but it is also very accessible by car, easily reach from both motorways from Dublin, you can take the Cork or the Limerick motorway. If you are coming down the Limerick motorway, take the Cork exit after passing the city and then take the Bruree exit on the Limerick to Cork road at O'Rourke's Cross. If you are coming down the Cork motorway take the Mitchelstown exit and then head for Kildorrery. You can then turn right in the town of Kildorrery to head straight for Ardpatrick.
